The Reunion

A Family Affair Promotions (Colchester, England)

The ACID JAZZ club night returns to Colchester!

The ACID JAZZ night (officially known as “A Natural Feelin”) was

established in 1993 by brothers Jon and Robin Betts and ran monthly in Colchester on the last friday of every month for the next 13 years.

Over the years the nights had live bands, including Skooby & The Emperors New Clothes and dozens of different DJs (including Eddie Pillar - Acid Jazz records) playing the widest range of jazz, funk and rare grooves possible.

The nights became an integral part of Colchester’s music scene, and (possibly) was one of the longest running club nights in the South East of England.

In more recent years, the brothers have been asked multiple times to bring the night back (even for just one night)… And after lots of persuasion, that is exactly what they are doing.

Join us at Three Wise Monkeys from 10pm to 2am to witness a piece of Colchester club-night history and the best funk, soul, acid jazz and rare grooves.

Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door
