Blink: A one-man gay rom-com
Refracted World (London, England)

After a fantastic debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022, Terry Geo's astounding show is back!

Blink gives a raw and emotional insight into modern life for an interracial couple. This one-man gay rom-com will have you laughing, cheering and reaching for the tissues.

Jake meets the man of his dreams, a Kenyan refugee now working for Stonewall. Their relationship is full of laughter and together they build an incredible life filled with love, adventure and comical moments. But being gay isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Together they face homophobia and racism head on, combat HIV stigma and show the world that two men partnered together – even from different races – are no different to anyone else.

Terry Geo wrote and directed his first play aged 11. After leaving school, he worked in television becoming the youngest TV director. After a brief stint in a boyband, he starred in musical theatre productions, short films, music videos and toured the UK and UAE with a TIE show.

In 2017, Terry wrote and directed an award-nominated musical for the London stage. Blink of an Eye was the precursor to Blink. In the past few years, he has published two science fiction novels and is currently writing his third.

In 2022 he won a Queer Indie Award for writing.

Blink is directed by Paul T. Davies, playwright and director of Jackie, Bury Me and Living with Luke.
