Join Dilek Latif (Mercury Theatre’s very own Talent Development Producer) and Antony Stuart-Hicks (Executive Producer at APL Theatre and Mercury Theatre’s Resident Panto Dame) as they demystify the basics of putting on a show.

This Masterclass is for anyone who defines as a Producer, but will be especially helpful for those starting out in the industry, freelance producers, or self-producing artists of any discipline.

You will get valuable insight into commercial producing and producing at a venue at the same time. It will be a return to the basics, without the unnecessary jargon and terminology. Over the 4 hours, the pair will discuss some key skills, and you will learn all about:

• Raising funds

• Overseeing budgets

• Making contracts

• The qualities of a successful producer

• Training and opportunities and leave feeling ready to apply all that you’ve learnt to a real-life production!
