Relentless Poetry By Mistake

At the start of lockdown in March 2020 Ant announced, rather spontaneously, he'd be reading and distributing a different poem everyday until the Colchester Arts Centre, where he works as Director, re-opened!

He imagined lockdown would be lasting about three weeks. 523 Poems and 17 months later the project came to an end. In this show he revisits some of his most interesting discoveries, the people he met, the stories they told and revels in the joy that poetry opened up to so many people.

Expect new poems, old poems, local poets, famous poets and a few surprises.
